This is a composition by two time SAMMIE Award winner and guitarist Dave Lynch featuring Joe Gilman on keyboard, Arron Smith on drums and Dave on both guitar and bass. This was engineered on a Fostex model 80 recorder.
This performance is a piece I wrote for a very special lady on her birthday. It was done in the Tool Shed Studio, Sacramento, Ca. with Gerry Pineda on upright bass, Rob Lautz on vibes, and me on guitar (1993 Gibson Herb Ellis into a Pearce G2R

Recorded in spring of 1989 on a two track cassette boom box at Geno's house, this is the first rehearsal and reading of this composition, Parallax. The exercise was to write it without touching my instrument. Lot's of improvisation in the old ECM style. Matt Ryan (RIP) drums, Ray Elsey on keys and guitar, Geno Lopes on bass and yours truly, Dave Lynch guitar/composer.
